Laptop powering off suddenly
Hi: I'm really hoping someone may be able to help with my problem. I have a laptop which previously had Win98 on it and after stress was put on it (ie: installing a CD, surfing internet, installing WinXP, etc) it will suddenly power off. Floppy drive isn't recognized
Just bought a new used computer and tried to get into the CMOS to detect the floppy drive since upon bootup it said a drive: none. When pressing ESC or DEL key it asks for current password which I don't know what the old users had as a password. How can I get into change the a drive? Please...- plperry
