Made the best of all the suggestions and ran anti spy/ av software. I still get the (windows) warning but I have tried the new-ware. I believe it's a windows level of security that has to be re-set somehow. Cheers to all that have replied so promptly. Graham

No, it's disfunctioning on a stand alone laptop

I have tried the standard method of configuring a screen-saver in Win Xp and usually it functions for a time but after a re-boot there is no screen-saver function even though it should display given the options are all chosen to show a screen-saver. Any ideas would be great to solve this. Grays
