I can't see where to edit a post. The error is "Could not install catalog files" not "Could not install cabinet files".

Oh, by the way, for anyone else having this problem, I used the XP_FileFilter tool, which allows unregistered extensions to be searched. The xp_persisthandler script actually did not work for me, but they are both on the same web page.

Thank you for the help but, no luck. Couldn't get either script to work. When I tried your first idea it would always put it in as 'input' regardless of Caps status. I couldn't figure out how to get the second one to work at all. :-/ Is it for full VB?
