Installed new slave HD, BIOS sees it, but Win2k doesn't
If you haven't created a partition on it yet it won't show up in Windows Explorer. You can do that in the disk management control panel. I bought PartitionMagic to do that, I recommend it, very useful program for creating, deleting, resizing, and moving partitions. Mike Persons- phydeau672

I have a tale of woe to add here. I recently bought a new PC based on the ASUS A7V8X motherboard, which has onboard RAID. It's one of the kind that needs an OS driver. I ordered it with a 40G drive with WinXP installed on it. I bought two Serial ATA 80G drives to create a RAID-0 (striped)...- phydeau672
