Thank for answering so quickly, I ran out to get a cup of coffee. Yes I've assigned codes B and C, but where do I go to assign the 91, 92, 93. I've been thru the programing but I just can't find that. Thanks for your help.

I've got a MICS 5.0 with 14 ligns divided like this: 8 lines in pool A, 3 lines in pool B, 2 in Pool C and 1 single line which is not important to this problem. How do I assign the different pools to phones on different buttons. I've tried F64 9 but it says invalid code or can it be done. I have...
Thanks I'll try a board renumber, I've got nothing to lose. I am connected thru the Admin port (I've reconnected 4 different times, same error message each time)and have access to std spm programing, but I'll try that and see what happens.

Thanks for posting, I've got release 9 and it has been working up to this point (used it yesterday at another site on a magix). Avaya set this system up and has been preforming programing issues up to this point. The site has a lot of "Partner 34D" phones hooked up thru the 016 ETR cards, but...
The first time I logged on to my customers magix sys. an error message: winSPM cannot recognize circuit pack in slot 10 -17.
NOTE: ATL circuit packs can only be used in Merlin Legend systems.
Quick Access will not be available until this is resolved.
This system has 1 expansion cab and...
Can't tell you yet, I just got on the scene. The IT guy came with the sys. and set it up. I set up the PRI and exts. and just started looking at the VM. I think they were expecting it be working as soon as it was turned on since it was put together just like it was set up at the old site. But...
My customer got this magix 3.0 v7.0 with expansion cab. After installing it everything works except the Merlin Messaging w/6 port card in slot 7. I've got all green lights but when I try to access it...no go. When I did a demand test this is the message that came back.
Internal loopback test...
Yep, you're right. I needed to remove the headset hang-up button first and as you probably already know when I did that the feature was turned off. I've got a question about merlin messaging but I'll start another thread. Thanks
OK here is my question: How do I remove these buttons at the opr. station (ext. 1701)? When I delete the headset status button, the phone will no longer operate with the handset (you have to use the speaker button to answer calls) now maybe I just need to continue and remove the headset hangup...
Jerry's post will give you the answers you need. Depending on how your system is configured, but you will need something bigger than a 7208 phone for programing info. And sometimes you only have access at ext.21 or 221.
HWNGAMBER is right it's a new game for you. A simple answer to your question is. You need a location where you can put the KSU. This is also where you junction all your wiring. You would be wise to use 4 pair wire. Have one wire run per phone back to this junction point. your phone numbers also...
I also figure I can just have a seperate greeting answer that line that gives the new address & numbers and that will give them access to the directory if needed.
Thanks guys, that did it. I had to reconfig it, but at least it's not locked up anymore. It aways looks better to my customers when I fix the stuff. I have no idea what made it lock up in the first place. But anyway Thanks again. Phonman Kansas city
