A few months ago Panasonic discontinued the NT701 external microphone that connects to the NT700 conference phone. Does anyone know the pinout for the device? I'm wondering if an external mic from another product may be adapted to work on the NT700, or perhaps someone knows where a few NT701...
They have an Interailia that announces "Thank you for stating with us, this is your wake-up call."
That's a good suggestion, it could explain the late calls, but not the failed ones. Nevertheless I will check and see all ports are operational.
Thanks,

You cannot swap the module hot, it would probably cause a lot of grief if you did.
Capacitors are used in a lot of Nortel switches, but the Panasonic uses a 3V lithium battery. The TD1232 uses a CR2354.
Why not simply back it up to a PC with the maint software? Then you could even solder in a...
I'm baffled on this one so I'm hoping someone here has figured this out already.
SX200 Light in a hotel environment, 5 cabinets. There is a front office system but the customer only uses the Mitel switchboard to set wake-up calls.
The problem is very intermittent but every few weeks the...

You probably have pickup dial enabled at that station and either no number or an invalid number is set. To turn off pickup dialing, go off hook at the offending phone (in this case 12) and without hesitation dial 740, this will shut it off. The factory default delay for pickup dialing is 1...
In more than twenty years I have never seen a faulty MWL LED on a digital set. Neon lights fail oll the time, but a defective LED, though not impossible, is highly unlikely.
It's not likely the TVP50 either, as in not a physical problem. What version is it running? (the TVP50)
Is it safe to...
Go into the VPS programming and set MWL for every message as YES.
Going by memory, you should find it under system parameters > message waiting.

I had that on a TDA100 about two years ago. Panasonic's answer was to upgrade everything (including the TVM50) to the latest firmware. That did not work.
Their second response was to go into the trunk card properties and disable the wait for CID carrier. That did not work either.
Fed up with...
If it's a recent cabinet (meaning from 1999 or later) you'll need two 27C801 EPROMs.
(however, you could simply erase the existing ones and burn a new image on them.)
If you're in doubt, gently peel off a label and read the chip number on either one, they're identical.

I program the notification device to be a telephone and set the number to be the pager's tel number, a bunch of Pauses, and then the mailbox number twice, separated by a sextile followed by the octothorpe. The message I see on the pager is 202-202. This tell me I have voicemail waiting. Putting...
I need to upgrade a TD816 KSU currently running P311H/P312H firmware to P311UA/P312UA. (This will allow the PBX control time service feature to work on the attached TVM50.)
As it's more than 7 years old, Panasonic can't supply them, it's all TDA now. - begging did not help... 8-)
Anyone have...
I fully agree with cwc3, with some bits and pieces from Viking you could easily do it. However, I find it difficult to believe the NCP IP system which fully supports lots of IP connectivity cannot do that natively. There's got to be a work around inside the native hardware and software.

Whoops... somebody get me an optometrist, STAT!!
or as the church lady from SNL in the 80's used to say:
"Never mind..."
Sorry about that.
