I have a situation where there is a remote site VPN set up with a Sonic Wall TZ180. The main site has a Sonic Wall NSA3500. This was set up by the customers IT dept. We deployed 7-9608 phones. The phones are registered with the IPO. We have intermittent issues where there is no dial tone. Then...
I have a client with IP500v2 Rls 7.0(36) using embedded vm. Got email notification to work, but the date of the email on the user phone shows up as 31/12/1969. In his outlook it on the pc it uses the correct time and date. Any ideas on why this might happen? Thanks.
But they did work off of the Nortel Option 81 for many yrs w/o a hitch. Same cabling has been in place for yrs. Within 3mos IPO has trouble w/ the lights. I'm going to look to see if I have the latest 7.0 and maybe even get upgrade to 8.0 to see if that covers any possible gliches.

I have an IPO500v2 R7.0 that has 6 - Phone30 modules. The client previously had a Nortel Option 81 using analog Astra phones w/ Message Waiting Lights. In order to get the lights to work I set up each "Extension" port w/ 101v. The lights started working after I rebooted the system and each...
I am working on setting up a SIP Trunk for a customer with their data person. We have been through the docs and technical tips, but still can't get a call to complete. Has anyone set this up successfully yet or seen any better documenation?
In the latest Intuity Mode Mailbox User Guide it talks about setting up personal distribution lists. It also talks about using Phone Manager to set up the groups. You could build a dummy mailbox and build lists in that mailbox. Just a thought.
I know you're looking for more of an "always on" type feature, but I've used dial intercom. The user can press that and then dial the extension. Hope this helps.
