We use NetIQs Vivinet for ip readiness assessment over 1 week plus and Ixia Chariot for trouble shooting and real time testing.
This isn't cheap, see if anyone offers this as a service.
We've had a significant number of
POE failures on the 460s. Its a
failure of the same part every
time according to Nortel. Should
be a warranty claim.

Check the IP configuration on the working PCs and compare it with the bad one. If you've changed the network adapter there could be a conflict .
On XP go to Run, type cmd
\-------- type ipconfig /all
This has nothing to do with the Nortel VPN. So you can connect to the wireless AP, is the AP connected to the internet? How have you connected the AP to the wired router, using the WAN port of the AP or one of the other ports? Get this sorted out first.

Could be a guest "just looking" or it could be a guest with a virus. I have a hotel client, looks like its the same organization btw, been having a heck of a time with infected guests hammering the router. Add in those that are running P2P apps like eDOnkey and Winmx without throttling back and...
Nexland was sold to Symantec, here's the link to the manual download site. I seem to remember the client was licenced and had to be unlocked via the web .

I just downloaded the manual and coudn't find an option for split tunneling. This is a policy rule that prevents you haveing a connection to the internet at the same time that you are connected to the VPN protected network. Its a security feature to prevent your remote machine acting as a router...
You're not going to get anything by upping the MTU beyond 1500 and might be better off to lower it. Ethernet has a max frame length of 1514 bytes, deduct the headers from that and you end up with ~ 1460 bytes. Since you're going through a VPN you'll have an additional header or wrapper, deduct...
>>And other people on SBC in the same state can not access the website from multiple locations.<<
Then someone has an access list that is blocking . Turn it over to your ISP and ask them to test from their closest router interface to you. They our you is you have access can telnet to the web...
>>Do I need to physically reboot the router/switches/firewall each night or week or anything?<<
No just leave them alone!
>> Also on our switches they have 2 ports each on them for ethernet links that we have gigabit cards for. <<
Are these Cisco 3550 switches with GBICs ? Again shouldn't be...
Are you sure your VPN client is set to allow split routing? If not then you'll only be able to access resources local to the host site. This is a security feature not a fault.

Andrew, VLANs can confuse the issue. If the server in the bottom of your pic has an outside address then its possible its on a seperate VLAN , possibly a DMZ. There may also be access lists involved that would restrict access to certain resources. Your NT box could be on a different VLAN to your...
It wouldn't be collisions on a switched network unless there were hubs as well. Ok there could be if the switches were set to half duplex instead of full. Check the switch interfaces stats , sh int ... do you see collisions, or other likely errors?

If the speed issue is only at one station then I'd have a close look at that station for spyware/malware. This could also be clogging the network . You can get one if the free sniffer type programmes like Ethereal or Packetyzer , monitor the port going to your router by using a monitor/span port...
