hp 4,5,6 series printers? if they still work for you, keep'em running and out of the landfill if you are still looking for memory sources, I've had really good luck at www.memoryx.net, and this outfit has regularly had stuff I couldn't find anywhere else at a tolerable price- petraip

HP450ci USB connected keeps crashing XP
Ran into something similar with a different model inkjet. Turned out to be a collision with the nowadays usually half-baked parallel port drivers for printers on XP that were installed using the foofy auto-install routines.
