Installation problems
The reason it failed was there was another install of SQL. Rename the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder and the install will work.- perrysiddle

Windows 2003 DC hangs on "applying computer settings"
I have a client that is experiencing this exact problem. It started this weekend, after a bad thunder storm that took out power. I have the system on a APC 1500 SmartUPS so it should have been protected. However, I am concerned about the cable modem. The power is plugged into the UPS, but not...- perrysiddle
