On an M2008 phone, look for a 1/4" wide, rectangular opening along the front edge of the phone, just below the mouthpiece rest of the phone base (hard to describe where to look!). That opening is the microphone...

Key 01 forwarding to overflow extension

You might want to look at Delayed Ringing (DNDR) on the Director's phone. DNDR uses seconds, not number of rings. In other words, his phone will be blinking on the SCN line for x number of seconds before it actually starts ringing. You'll have to play with different numbers of seconds.

    M3904 Speakerphone on automatic

User has M3904 phone. Whenever phone rings, he picks up the handset to talk. The caller's voice starts coming out of the speaker in the BASE of the M3904. How do I make that stop, permanently? My guess is that it's just a defective phone. I have replaced his M3904 with a spare and there's no...

Caller ID - non PRI T1

I also have a very related question, one I went around and around with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint over a year ago. I finally GAVE UP! I do not have PRI. I have several COTs and WATs lines (remember those?). Any outbound call from my site to someone with caller ID gets a display showing the number...
