I've been noticing that on some sites with layouts made mostly of pictures that the corners or pictures load last (if the corners are rounded). An example is this site. What I don't understand is WHY do they make a seperate picture for each corner or WHY the browser makes it load like that...

It does load fast and don't see any other problems except for the Menu. When you hover over it and it extends out, a certain section gets cut off on the bottom (The "clients" part) and it's very hard to read or click it. I noticed that it ends at the top of the intro frame...
I have a nice looking layout I made in CSS but it's not working because the different HTML elements are vertically too far apart. Is there anyway I can put them right next to eachother without overlapping?
