    TIPMISER - I believe the message is scrolling across the terminal as ha has installed the OS or possibly migrated the OS. Once the mksysb has been isntalled if there is a mismatch in the OS the libc.a get confused because of the C mismatch. I am sure that the load process controls from the boot...

    Two questions.(a) what is the task you are trying to complete? (b)are you updating the OS or doing a system migration? I have seen this before and it is a simple fix if you are trying to do what I was.

    Also be sure to have the tty plugged into the correct serial port.

    Raid 0+1 (10) and PDISK swap

    Guys and gals, does anyone know if it is possible to remove a member drive of a raid-10 array without causing the array problems? I have to put 3 drives back into the array which have been rejected and the IBM CE will have 3 drives for me on Monday. I don't want to "Swap" them now but...
