Will a 1601 upgrade to IOS 12.x
Hey, Thanks for that. The router is a 1600 but I've put in a 16mb stick of RAM myself to beef it up. Actually, the Flash card had IOS 11.3(5) on it as well. I managed to get hold of the c1600-y-mz.122-40 image and used Solarwinds TFTP server to backup the old image to my PC, transfer the new... -

Hi, I've just bought a Cisco 1601 to practice on for my CCNA and I've found that the IOS version is: Version 11.1(10)AA, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) Do you think it will upgrade to 12.x? The router has 16mb RAM and a 4mb Flash PC Card. Thanks, P.
