XP creating users on it own...no i'm not crazy lol
To me it sounds like the original profile is corrupt. I would log in as Admin and move users profile to root and have user log back in to create a new one then copy files back and reconfigure. There are no stupid questions, just a lot of inquisitive idiots :)- pcjunkie7
