Thanks. That's one place I did look. Does this mean that if a patch has been installed, a comment is automatically placed in autoexec.ncf by the patch process?
To avoid confusion, in NW5.x, the command at the console prompt to view/edit NCF files(among many other things) is nwconfig, not install.
Make sure the server is in the same context as the newly added licenses and that you assign the licenses to the correct server. This can be done in NWadmn32.
