I built a new ISDN trunk group with 8 DS1 Boards about a month ago.
It has facility associated signaling so there is one D signal port per board.
The trunk group is internal only with the CSUs connected to a Mediant Gateway 1000B for IVR Connections.
Everything has been going fine up until...
It has been taken care of Randy
They set it up so the Mediant added the 9 to the call and I did not need to add it.
Strange still that I did not see the 9+ what I am dialing in the trace
Hello Randy
I am sending 9-303-4546
I was reading that Disconnect Supervision could be the problem as well.
display cor 95

FRL: 0...
I wonder if it is a security rather than routing issue?
From the trace, CM sees an incoming call from the outside on trunk group 16 and allows the xfer to an internal extension.
When attempting to dial 9 for outside access, it denies it and routes the caller to 0 to prevent toll fraud?
Ideas?
When I do a trace of the trunk group and dial an internal extension, the call goes through
list trace tac 116

Still no luck on getting to an outside line.
1) I log in the Mediant with a remote number via my cell phone
2) I dial a local outside number 9-333-XXXX
I have the entry for the outside line setup as below

Randy, the digits coming from the Mediant will be customer numbers.
The required entries are in the ARS Table.
I can dial the customer numbers the usual way and they make it through.
If I log in as an agent on the Mediant Side place a call to my extension or any internal number, the call goes...
The third party on the Mediant Side was able to make a test call to my extension and it showed 555-1212, which must be the default number it uses.
Looks like I only need to add that to the ARS Table then if this is correct?
Thanks
We have a Mediant 1000 Gateway and a Trunk Group on Avaya setup for it.
The Trunk Group has no outside line connected to it and we need to route outbound calls from the Mediant to one of the other trunks.
How would this be accomplished?
Thanks
Thanks Randy.
The Trunk Incoming Treatment Table is empty.
I created a station 2437, and dialed the 1-877 number and it rang the phone.
I got around the issue though by creating a vdn and vector pointing to route to the AAR FAC + 2437 and it works now.
The third party on the Mediant side said...
Thanks Randy
Almost there now
I created the trunk group and ran a test call with the dnis and heard the auto operator on the Mediant.
The problem is that I can't get to it when dialing the 1-877-XXX-XXXX number, I get a busy signal.
The dnis 2437 comes in two other trunks and is routed via UDP...
Randy, I had one more question.
Does the DS1 Board where the Mediant is plugged in need to be on the destination trunk group where I am routing the DID Number?
As it is right now, the DS1 Board is not part of any trunk group and only has a signal group attached.
Thanks.
I guess I am confused on how the number would get to the Mediant though.
Would I tie the DID to one of the ports on the DS1 where the Mediant T1 Crossover is connected?
