We have an S8500, single processor. If I configure it for NTP, will it cause a reboot of the system? Thanks.

    What Audix Says

I'm using an auto-attendant in our Intuity. I've got the timeout feature set to transfer after a few seconds with no entry. Audix says "transferring to an operator, please wait" and then does the transfer. Is there any way to get "her" not to say that, and to just do the transfer? In this...

    Anyone remember Valhalla?

According to my Avaya rep, and the Avaya website, all Avaya training is now being handled by Accenture. I've sent them an email. I'm not holding out much hope that they have records from the early 90's.

    Anyone remember Valhalla?

Does anyone remember a Lucent/Avaya training center that used to exist in Valhalla, NY? I took some courses there in the early 90's and am trying to obtain proof of my attendance. This was well before "Avaya University" existed. I don't think I'm going to be able to obtain this...

    Polycom Integration/connection with G3SI -R6

TN556C or TN2185? Which board would be used for a G3r V9 connected to a Polycom PVS-14xx? We currently use the Polycom with 3 2-wire BRI lines from the Telco to the Polycom's mux. We would like to move this Polycom to connect via our G3r. Thanks.

Reducing Number of Rings before Auto Attendant

TTT - Thanks! That seems to have worked! I have asked the receptionist over there to let me know if it seems to cause her any other troubles or changes. I really appreciate the help. As I said, I'm a great G3/Prologix guy with years of experience, but little to none on Merlin. If I can ever...

Reducing Number of Rings before Auto Attendant

TTT - Thanks, but I really need *baby steps* on this. Is there anywhere I can get a tutorial on Magix?

Reducing Number of Rings before Auto Attendant

Hi. We have a Magix 4.0 in Hybrid/PBX mode. We have a PRI T1 and a range of DID's. The main number (which is a DID) is 5105. This number does not ring to anyone's phone, it goes directly to the AA. However, it takes 6 rings before the AA answers. I have been asked to reduce the number of...

    Prologix Expansion

Thank you all. I have received confirmation from two vendors that you are all correct, that fiber can not be used.

    Prologix Expansion

It does help, I have a vendor telling me I can connect the two cabinets via fiber 22 floors away in the same building. Time for a new vendor perhaps?

    Prologix Expansion

I am getting conflicting information from two vendors. We have a Prologix and would like to install an additional cabinet on another floor and connect them via fiber. One vendor says the Prologix cannot be connected via fiber, must be connected directly using a special cable. The other vendor...
