yes...I can see the real time reports now. Not being able to view the real time reports was the problem. With the PEP installed everything works great.

Well, I went ahead and figured someone else might want it so we will keep the link up on the WEB for a few days.
***Remember you need to have a clean version of XP on your PC. The update will not work if have already tried to install symposium before or you have other versions of Sybase or...
It was the PEP itself that made it work. I used our existing 4.2 client.
If you have a FTP site I could upload it or want to pay for shipping I'll burn your a copy of the CD. The file size is about 9.58 MB so it's too big to email.
let me know.
Ok for those of you following this thread I've got the correct Nortel PEP to work on the new Dell Pentium 4 computers running windows XP and Symposium 4.2 Client. It is the same PEP that "brownlg" mentions above.
My Dell PC is GX270 Optiplex 3.2 GHZ and I've tested this PEP on two...
Maripag,
You are correct. You cannot purchase a new DTI card any longer. We have a couple of those new TMDI cards in our 11c PBX now and I'll get you the part number when I get back to the office on Monday. I just bought one like 3 weeks ago.
If your switches are in the same building and...
The recommended size for the partitions on the SCCS are 4GB. Is it going to cause a problem if I make those partions bigger or does any one have larger partitions right now?
The reason I want to increase the size is that we are not able to keep more than 31 days worth of historical data online...
I've got 25.40 and we currently have 9 T-1s. Even though I don't have another T-1 card I just built a 10th T-1 card and then deleted it to test this scenario for you. So to answer your question, I say you can have more than 10.
However, we do have 4 cabinets all with IP connectivity and...
SCCS 4.2 works on some of the XP Dell Machines GX-260. Anything that seems to be 2.8GHZ or slower works if you have 4.2 Client and the recent Nortel PEPS with a clean install of XP.
I can't seem to get the 4.2 Client to work on any of the newer Dell Optiplex GX270 PCs with a 3.0 GHZ processor...
to add on to what wdhb said.. if you are running symposium you must deacquire the phone 1st before you out a phone and reprogram it.
I always rebuild the whole phone. I never make changes or copy.
My new Dell is 3.2 GHZ GX270.. haha.. j/k.. I'm thinking I might just have to keep my old computer now and give this new one to someone else and tell all the supervisors they have to keep their old computers.. oh well.. wait and see after I get the new CD.
I'm not sure what the latest PEPs are...
I'm convinced it's the Hardware in these new Dell GX270 because I have several other Dell GX260 with the same version of XP Sp1 and it works. But with this new GX270 and XP the symposium client will not work.
See I wish I could do what you are doing but we don't have the Web Client for agent...
