See, I knew the answer was so easy, no one imagines that everyone doesn't know it. THANK YOU, very much for clarifying this for me. I have decided to go the USB switcher and two USB cables plus 2 USB2 cards, this way if one HP is off, it won't interfere with printing. And, the CD/DVD feature I...
HA! I had forgotten I put this question out to the HP forum, this was the answer that was provided.
This particular product is a single USB connection. I see there are USB switch boxes that people are selling on the 'net, but they are not going to be something that is supported by HP. If...
SYQUEST - I am both excited, confused and embarrassed.
I don't have USB 2, didn't need this PCI card until now. I never did research to learn what Bluetooth was all about, didn't need to until now. I've been keeping our Macs running pretty good, but have let my Mac education dwindle.
So, to...
Okay, Cat5e/RJ45 is the same as an ethernet cable, right; I Googled Googled and they look alike? Never, ever heard it called a Cat5e/RJ45, now I have. Never though the hub needed to be Mac supported since USB seems so universal; good thing I asked for your advice. I only have one ethernet...
Ok, what are you calling a network cable, possibly, a firewire cable? Would this require me to have both Macs running if only one Mac wants to print?
Might this work as well? A USB2 hub that will have two female printer ports and One female USB port. Then I believe I could connect each CPU to...
First, forgive me if I am posting this question in the wrong thread, or forum.
I have two DDR Mirror Macs, both double processors, one 1.25MHZ and one 867MHZ. I would like to connect these two Macs to the same printer. I know how to connect each Mac via (2) USB2 cables, but how do I connect...
Ha, Spamjim, that would have made my life way easier. I'm sure I knew that 48mHz was incorrect once upon a time, alas, perhaps my Toast Titanium 7 didn't remember either.

Well, Chip, I added this information to my stickies, perhaps next time I forget the CD burning combination, the sticky will prime my memory. Thanks for your reply.

I'm having a problem burning a CD. The music CD burns with static noises plus the music, I'm using Toast.
I've used two different burners, two different kHz 48000 and 44.100
Song(s) sound fine when played on the Mac via the speakers. I think the static may be coming from Toast 7 Titanium...
I must share that I found out what my problem was not being about to get .flv to export into .mov. Seems I DID have a wrong setting in QT. I never caught it until today. I forgot several weeks ago that I was trying to export .mov into mpeg4 before I learned it was easier to do via itune...

Gee, I didn't know there was video download extention for Firefox.
I learn line dancing by downloading certain dances, as well as following an instructor. I edit the dances in Adobe Premiere to include the steps, which I have created, and the file has to be mov. Most...
I found the two updates I've allowed both were 6/8/09
Java for Mac OS x 10.4 Release 8 1.0
and
Security Update 2009-002 (Power Pc)
Others were 5/4/09 and I know the downloaded videos worked at that time.
I forgot to mention I'm on a DDR G4 using Tiger 10.4.11

New PosttwiSSt (Programmer) -
Downloaded suggestion, the video.flv plays just fine.
Don't think I've allowed the updated to update QT, however how would I check? There were two updates, can't remember which programs they was for, possible a java script???
