I have an Ispiron 8100 with a 64meg ati radeon moblilty 7500 video. It defaults to VGA driver. I down loaded driver from ATI. They install fine but when I reboot,I can't get pass the login screen. It did the same thing with sp2. I called dell (lucky if they give you the time of day). Thanks

Thank you Matt. My problem was that I need to assign a static IP range on Windows 2000 server Remote Access that matched my IP range on my Barricade smc7004br. Thanks again to everyone for their help. This is the best forum I have ever seen. Bob

I tried using the DHCP on the server. I tried seeting a range of ip address. I can't ping to the server. I can see myself as a RRAS client. Still no luck. Is there anywhy we can set up a chat or can I call by phone. I been at this for weeks and it is killing my main task which is database...

I think I have DHCP turned off. I went into services and set it to manual. The SMC7004bR is doing the DCHP. I just added new dial up connection on windows 98 (SE) and selected vpn. I am totaly confused now.
