I have had the exact same issue, Its a problem with the latest update to Java on your PC, try it from a PC without the updated java and it will work fine
What version of exchange are you running,
I would stop all exchange services,
then run isinteg.exe on the public and private stores,
Use Trends housecall for exchange to check for viruses in the store

I have seen several threads on this but no real resolution,
We are setting up Exchange messaging in our office,
Everything is working well, DNS srv records are created etc etc..
