Thanks for the reply. The users are all configured for delivery to the mail server, they don't use pst's and only the laptop users use ost's. These all happened this morning.

pdtit has provided a good answer there. I don't see why you need third party tools when there are tools you already own like exmerge and eseutil that will do the job you want. exmerge extracts all the data from individual users mailboxes and exports them to pst files. It can then merge psts...

OK, we got MS support involved, and this was basically the resolution. Install SMS netmon, provided by MS. Activate all logging for IIS, Applog, SMTP. Start Netmon. Send trace logs to MS. Install SMTP connector, we were using just the default virtual server (which I may add was working fine...

Be careful with the file size. The exchange box I spoke about reported file attributes of 8GB, but Exchange expands this to 14GB, probably because it's on a compressed drive.
