What are the TTY settings in LD 17- ADAN for the port your CDR box is connected to? You have to make sure that your port settings on the TTY and the CDR match, other wise, you will get garbage.

You may need to convert these files to .vbk- Here is the player info- If you have the CP100-150 3.0 cd go to optional software, desktop messaging, 2.01.27.14 file, web, audio_enu. This should be the player you're looking for. Let me know if this works.

I am trying to connect to Meridian Mail via a US Robotics 14.4 modem. The current setup is through a A/B switch box.
Side A is- Terminal (works fine), side B is modem. I have a standard serial cable from side B directly to the modem.

I did throw the A/B switch over to B. However, I do connect with a blank screen. I will try the control R and see what happens. Someone also mentioned that I may need a null-modem adapter.

I heard the same thing from a couple of other techs. This was my last resort. I will just add a new modem to the Meridian Mail and Meridian Max and dial in seperately.

You can change your ring type by changing the cls of the phone to drg1, drg2, drg3 and drg4. In the X11 Input/Output guide Book 1, look in load 11 Class of Service under distinctive ringing. Chris W
