What I've found is that it won't behave unless client machines (W95/98) have the Microsoft Network Client installed. Dunno if that's part of the RPC framework, but even with the Inopw stuff, it's a no-go if it can't see it on the network.
HTH,

Greetings, all! I've always wondered what the "remfunlove.exe" executable on the InoculateIT 6.0 (NT) CD did. Anyone know, or been brave enough to fire it up?

I think you answered your own question. Unless you're running Windows For Workgroups, a "Running AVupdate using WIN3x syntax" is bad, isn't it? It should be WIN9x or WINNT. I forget where this is set on the client (inoc6.icf?), but I'd look around and find out why the client wants to...
Additionally, it might be telling you that a) your software isn't properly registered (happened to me), or b) that you have set your machine's realtime settings at the Admin level, and hit the "don't allow users to change" box.
Best of luck!

You might want to set up a local FTP server instead---I've had better luck doing that than with a UNC-type connection (esp. useful for Novell folks that don't have NT logins). It's detailed in the '4.x and 6.x Signature Distributions' PDF on their site. Best of luck!
