Thanks Sooo much! I cut and pasted your exact code and it worked perfectly! I need to do another similar lookup, but I'm going to give it a shot by tweaking your code.
Thanks again!
Table Name = Financial Req Ver 2
Field Name = Consolidate Fin Req V2
UPDATE [Financial Req Ver 2]
SET [Consolidate Fin Req V2] = DLookUp([Consolidate Fin Req V2],[Financial Req Ver 2], (Seq= & DMax Seq,[Financial Req Ver 2], Seq< & Seq & AND Not([Consolidate Fin Req V2] Is Null)))

I tried plugging my values into the code you provided, but I'm getting a syntax error about not enough operators. I checked my code very carefully (could still have missed something). Could you verify the code you gave and check it for amy syntax? I pretty much put my values in between the...
I do have an Order BY on a Seq number field and the records you show with null values is exactly what I am getting. I want the null fields to contain the previous field that had a value in it like CC234.
I've looked for this and can't find exactly what I want. I don't know VB and would like to try and do this with the Build Expression.
First record has value "CC234" in Field A and next record is Null in Field A. I want to take "CC234" from previous record Field A and plug it into the current...
Does that take away the ability of a normal user to dynamicaly create, change, and delete their own rules? Would each rule they want created have to be done by the Exchange Administrator? We don't want that if we can avoid it.
The rules are configured in Outlook and when you view the rule, it does not say (client only) like some of the rules do, so I assume they can run from the server. I created the same exact rule in the rule wizard from Outlook on the 2003 Exchange Server that I created in Outlook on the 2007...
I am not an Exchange Administrator, but I have worked with the client side somewhat. My organization just got moved in with a new contractor we hired. They brought in Exchange 2007 for our new email addresses. I create a simple rule that does this: When I receive an outside the domain email...
In regards to not thanking anyone, I truely do apologize! As you can tell from my history, I seldom use this site (40 times in 7 years). I did go back and look at the 22 replies and on all but about 4, I said "Thanks" many times in the replies. Believe it or not, I didn't even know about the...
New to excel and trying to do something simple. Don't know VBA, so I would like to do with a formula. For example. If cell A3 has text, then B3 can have a number. If A3 is deleted, then B3 = 0.
A3 = Test and B3 = 200 (which was entered earlier)
Delete "Test" from A3 and make B3 be 0 instead of...
I googled and found where someone had written a macro to have the 2007 SharePoint Calendar open up with current week always at the top. It was an old article and they did not provide macro or link to it. Does anyone know how to write this macro? Our organization can't figure it out and claim...
I'm still a little confused. I'm not real familiar with ActiveX controls. Put yourself in my shoes and tell me how you would do this: I am in MS Access 2003. I am running a report that inputs a linked table from a Sharepoint Site. A field in the Linked table is a hyperlink to a WORD document...
I've searched for this, but only found how to print a hyperlink image. Is there a way to run a report and if one of the fields is a hyperlink to a document, can it be opened and printed within the running of the report? I'm not a VB person, but I am familiar with a lot of controls property...
We recently changed from Lotus to Exchange and about 23 people in my group are running Outlook 2003 as a client. All receive their emails as a default of HTML. Mine comes in as Plain Text and I have to right-click and select "Convert to HTML". Under Options, Mail Format, "Compose New Messages...
