    Under the snap in computer management go to shared folders then open files. Hope this helps!

    Does anyone know of of script etc that will enable the nic and login to a 2000 or netware server from a 95/98/nt workstation using a boot disk. I do not want to bring the windows operating system up and need to boot and run from DOS. Thanks, Mike

    If it can be done I would think you would definatly need 3rd party software. Microsoft "services for netware" may have a tool included. It will migrate NDS users etc. to Active directory although we had to download a patch. I am not sure about restore from netware backup but would...

    Microsoft services for netware will transfer the nds users & groups with permissions to active directory. A patch may need to be applied that can be downloaded from microsoft. I sugest buying a book on 2000 server before doing so and learning how active directory ect works (very similar to nds)...

    Minimum requirements ar as followsfor server: processor 32bit pentium 133 Mhz 671 mb of hd space 64 mb memory vga monitor 640x1024 12 cd-rom It will run very slow i would have a minimum of 128 mb ram and faster processor. Pro requirements will be about the same.
