Thanks for the link. That looks like more of a hard drive to hard drive type. I am looking for software or VB script just to copy over user settings, like PST files, signatures, favorites, cookies, templates...stuff like that.
Hello,
I am looking for some ideas or useful tools to help expidite transferring user data from one machine to another. We are starting a rollout and have tried the Windows USMT, but we are still looking for other ideas.
Does anyone have any ideas, know of any vendors or have any tools to help...
Make sure on ther server side the user isn't restricted to specific machines. If this guy is restrcited from logging into all machines, grant them access to this machine and you should be fine.
Also make sure this machine is on the network. If it is on the network and added to the domain, anyone...
I would recommend purchasing the latest version of Norton or McAfee from somewhere, installing it and see what it finds. You can also try Ad-aware from www.lavasoft.nu which is pretty good. I agree with bobsa32 with a full backup. At least you have the data and can possibly scan ot on a second...

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure AD? I have people who need to create and modify user accounts in AD, although I want to ensure they do not have the ability to delete or remove any accounts, groups, OUs, etc. Any help would be greatly appreiciated.
