Okay, but lets say I have a dataset that contains 100 records and 50 of those are of type "A" and the other fifty are of type "B". When I save the report initially, I run it to include both types. When I'm viewing it "offline" in CR, how do I bring the parameters up without clicking the refresh...

Okay, but how do I prevent it from going back to the database? If the computer I'm viewing on is on the network, it will try and refresh the data when I go down to a smaller view of the record set then try and go back to the orginal view of the recordset. Does that make sense?

Okay, I need to know if there is a solution out there that allows you to view a historical instance of a report offline and change the filters based on the saved data. Meaning, it will not refresh, but only change the dataset based off the saved data in the report.

Those are the steps I've attempted to take. However, when I click on the guest account to view it's properties, it errors giving the message that it can't find or validate the the removed user is valid....which he isn't. So I can't even get into the guest account to remove the alias.

I'll keep it short. I added an AD user, then I aliased the user under the Guest account. The user no longer exists in the AD group, now guests users can't get in because the server is looking for the removed user. How can I remove this alias from the system?

Did you ever find out how to resolve this issue?

I have edited a page that is found in the websamples folder installed with CE9 (webcontent/enterprise9/websamples/en/database). I've got it working, other then the viewer. Does anyone know how to select the activex viewer as a viewer? I've looked all over and all that I see are suggestions...

After I did the clean instal of 9, I used the Import Wizard and the reports all failed. The error was regarding that the reports couldn't be found in the file repository. Once I moved the old FileStore folder over to the new, it went fine, except for the fact that they won't run....

If you've been able to pass the values from the subreports you should be able to use those values to calculate with the main report group values. To get the values of the groups to line up. Create a section for that group, move it above then format the new section to "underlay following...

You can create a running total on the passed values...

Their wanting to search through a list of companies. A user would select a range of companies (ie a-g). The data resides on an AS/400 DB2. They are not looking for one particular company.
