Hi,
Thanks for the reply but that's not quite what i meant.
I basically want the sp to be called with any number of 'code' arguments to be used in the query. Now the table the dataset is to be pulled from has a field called 'code' but the sp may be called looking for any number of code values...
Hi,
I'm trying to write a stored procedure where one of the string parameters passed is 'evaluated' to be used within a query in that procedure.
Giving a simplified example may be clearer.
I have a table which has one of it's fields contain a 'code' from 1 to 99.
I want the sp to return all...
Hi,
I have a mail server running vanilla exim (debian woody). The connection to the outside world is via an ADSL connection. Mail is brought into the server b using fetchmail. Outgoing mail is via our ISP's mail relay (BT).
Had forwarding for some users using the standard ".forward"...
Using WHFC will allow you to use a printer driver that will fax out from a windows appliction. There are also good word macros if you want to do fax-merging etc.
If single user mode is still asking for a password - then it sounds like the inittab file specifically requests that a password is required for that run level too. I know debian does this.
See the second post in this thread re passing an init=/bin/bash parameter at the boot prompt in lilo or...
Hi,
I'm looking for recommendations for installing hotfixes for 2000 pro workstations but while a regular user is logged on. Basically, I'm looking after about 60 2000 pro workstations in an NT4 server environment (so no active directory). Also, no SMS server. Rather than run around all 60...
Hi,

Postfix is useful for migrating in that it contains it's own 'sendmail' executeable that spoofs what sendmail does. So that applications that spawn sendmail directly (rather than connect to port 25) can do the same with postfix via this 'sendmail' interface. See...
Hi,
It is common practice in LInux installations to have both localhost and the 'proper' hostname defined. Have a look at /etc/hosts. You'll have something like:
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain
aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd mymachine mymachine.mydomain
Now, you still use the 'hostname' command to...
First, check that there is no firewall rule on the linux box that would block it. Specifically, you may be enabling 'ping' from the local subnet (192.168.1.0) but not from the subnet the VPN client is on.
Another checking method is to see if the linux box has the appropriate routing table set...
Sounds like you are MASQing the internal network behind the firewall's internal interface (as the DMZ sees them as one IP address). Try reconfiguring so that the local network MASQs behind the external interface so the DMZ will recieve packets from the private machines proper IP addresses.
