I've got a customer that has a MICS w/ DR6.1. The T-1 in it is a point to point hooked to another MICS w/ DR 6.1. They are having some major issues with the T-1 and I might need to replace the DTI card. Can I replace the T-1 card (#NT7B74AAAA) with an older one? Or does it have to have the newer...
I had a request from a customer today and I'm not sure this can be done. It's on an Option 51 w/ Mer. Mail. Right now they have a main number coming in on a T-1. Calls ring in dirrectly to auto attendant and then transfer out to extensions or the operator. No DID's or anything special. Is there...
Another thing you can look at is Interdigit Timeout. It specifies how long the ICS will wait between user dialed digits. It's programmed in Routing Services.

That's what I was thinking.. set up the route and enter the dial out digit as "9", this will enter the "9" automatically after the centrex line is accessed.

I've got 3 sites w/ MCK's. They work great but now that they've been bought out by some new company advance replacement is near impossible to get without some kind of mait. contract with them. They are really trying to make it hard to work with them. Of the 10 MCK's i have installed in the last...
I had a 6.0 MICS, inbound calls came in on 8 channels of a T1 and outbound are on 6 copper lines. I set up routing for local and long distance. Used the call forward feature and just put a 9 in front of the number. Call was routed everytime the extension waas called.
The key is that there isn't an extension tied to the mailbox. The phone system is tied to the voicemail but they are two seperate machines. An easy way to get around this without needing a phone is to make extension 3000 an analog port and in Capabilities set the call forward no answer to the...
I know for sure you can do the overhead paing. I've got two sites with 6.0 tied with a point to point T-1. I did the programming through line pool accesds codes to open the T-1, an auto answer DN and page code on the far end. THey only use it one direction (out to a plant).
6.1 on the KSU and I didn't catch the CP100. I think it was 1.5 something. They are using 8 channels on the T-1 card and 8 lines on 8 LS/DS ports. DS is programmed. I tried 12 different combinations in CCR and even tried using a line to call out on with an appearance on a phone so I could...
If the phone is hooked up to an ATA, you could try programming the port to be in the same pickup group as the phone you are trying to pickup and then hit *75 or *76 and the extension to be picked up. Make sure the analog phone port is primed to internal dialtone. I can't say this will work for...
