    How much free space on the data store? What version of vmware? Have you tried moving it to another datastore and then backing up?

    Unknown really We always keep our media and master servers at the exact same level. It seems to avoid issues like this. Please post your solution once you have one!

    Include/Exclude List

    I think the way you have it now specifies only the root of C:\ You can try c:\*\*.trn (and *.bak) and see if it includes all subdirs, or you can just drive the C:\and specify *.trn and *.bak (that is system wide though)But if your ultimate goal is to catch these files then it should work.

    Vault? It can duplicate your backup images for you. It is an additional license though.
