All in all - I reckon AvayaTier3 is the person to call."
I second that. If you're interested in getting the contract/work from this customer, the $250 is a good investment.
Also, we're not making assumptions or calling you out, you asked for help/advise and you got it. Of course you are free...
Identical as in TN2602, preferrably the same HW/FW version but we can't always have what we want :) You won't know the FW version anyway until you install it. You will want to check it though and put on the latest FW version (for your CM load).
Your IP will stay the same if you replace an...
Hi Gabriele,
Did you check the SIP traces (traceASM on Session Manager linux)? The problem may be that there is no route in this scenario. You would need to know from which location ASM "thinks" you're setting up the call.
I've noticed with EC500 that ASM uses the location of the incoming...
This may sound strange but it's a recommendation from Avaya:
Remove the (xmobile) station in CM and save translations. Wait 15 mins and re-add the station.
I've had multiple weird issue's with IP Dect phones (like being able to receive calls from CM but not call to CM phones etc) solved with...
Hi Jtodd,
There are three different types of transceivers (that I know of):
9823A - Short range
This is a short range multi-mode fiber transceiver used for cable distances of 4900 ft or less.
9823B - Long range
* Supports multi-mode fiber between PPN and EPN to a distance of 25,000 feet...
Hi twizitid,
Unless you have some form of external logging (call accounting software), the answer is no. The buffer in Definity for CDR records can hold only a limited amount of information (minutes, hours or maybe days rather then months - depending on call volume).
We currently have the network regions set up for our CLAN's and the one thing that we have noticed is that occassionaly, some IP Endpoints will register to a CLAN not in the same region."
This is correct behaveour. When registering, IP phones in a particular region recieve an alternate...
Did you also change the IP address of the VoIP engine? It sounds like the Medpro can't reach the VoIP module on the other side.
From MGP session: set interface voip v0 <IP>
If you did, and everything seems to be ok, you may need to do a "nvram init" from MGP session and reconfigure the box...
I'm not trying to flame here, but honestly if you have read the ESS manual* you wouldn't be asking these questions.
Enough ranting :-)
In ESS you have main servers and backup servers. ESS is enabled via license file, and if you have the correct license, some ESS options will be enabled if you...
The only way to find out is to put back the R12 processor, and do a "status card-mem" or "list con soft long" to see what date & version the translations on the flashcard are. If it says r12 something, err, well, thats not so good. I don't believe there is a way to downgrade translations (except...
Assuming your ESS licenses are ok, you need to run "configure server" from the maintenance web interface and tell the system it is an ESS main server (if it is).
Be carefull with configure server, if you make a mistake you can seriously scr*w your system. Make backups before changing anything...
