    don't want to interrupt this thread, I just have one simple question: I am using Win 98 and I also have ActivePerl installed. I've read in help file that I should type PPM in MS-DOS, but if I just type PPM, I'm getting bad command name... it doesn't work, anyone familiar with this problem?

    that's true but I need the locale or path, it should be similar to /usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/lib/perl, the difference, it is in my hard drive and should be something like /d:/perl/bin/perl, but I don't know how to find it.
