    lightweight laptop

    I tried a 6100 satellite pro. Openserver wouldn't boot from cdrom & didn't like the usb floppy. Satellite pro 4600 has a built in floppy which works fine. I just don't like carrying a couple of bricks round with me ! What's an IBM x31 ??

    lightweight laptop

    I am currently running openserver 5.06 & xp on a toshiba 4600 satellite pro pentium iii 700. At over 3kg it's too heavy to carry far. Does anyone know of a lightweight laptop that can take both os. Sco's website tends to list only a few older models.

    I am learning Unix and I need some help, how do I do a multiple file transfer with ftp in non-interactive transfer mode. I know how to get single files with "get file1 file1.copy". Can someone help me please...
