The printers are shared. I don't have the "list in Directory" option under the sharing. I do have that on my other domain, but these are not trusted.

Hi, I'm having trouble listing my printers in AD. I have a new print server (w2k3) added to my domain which is running on w2k. I have AD active and can manage users and groups. When I add prints to the new print server I cannot list them in the directory. I don't have an check box option...

Well I installed Exmerge on both machines. One to export and the other to import. My problem here is that the original mailbox name is different than the new mailbox name. How can I just move the data over without associating it with the same account name?

Thanks for the reply. Would I run Exmerge on the 5.5 exchange to export and on the E2k3 to import? I've read that it is a good idea to run it on a "dedicated management station", which would do both export and import? How is most admins using this tool? TIA

Looks like the log file is going to be pretty big since I am trying to log all file activities on the domain. Is there any 3rd party software that will log the same info? TIA

I've already did that part of auditing setup. But I still only get basic logon/logoff in security events. I have also enable the audit object access setting in the Audit policy. Thanks for the help Newman

Hi all, I need to log user access (read, write, modify, etc) on a shared folder on my network. I assume it would be an auditing events on the folder properties. Not sure what I need to add. Can it pipe it to a .txt file? Is there any policy to would also do the same task? TIA Newman

Is there anyway to have my DNS server add the suffix, since it's the DNS server for my LAN. I would like to avoid going to each non-domain workstation to make a local change. Thanks
