I've had the same problem on Baystack 450 switches. Ports automatically assign themselves (membership and PVID) to VLAN 1. This would be especially prevelant duraing/after a software upgrade, where almost an entire switch might 'jump' to VLAN 1.
The problem in our case however, is probably...
Contivity store all it's user profiles in an ldap database either locally or external (if you dont know then your is probably local).
Have never done this before especially on that old sw rls. but here's what I'd try:
1.) Through the WEBUI save/backup the ldap database on the 1500 with a...
On the 6400 code, you might be able to use the CP enet port for management by running startup and configuring the IP address there. If this works on your card/software, it will give you mgmt access to the local card only, and will not be part of any virtual router on the node.
I assume you are using i2004 phones then. You can set these to tag packets with a particular VLAN ID. The switch port must be set to tagged but not to discard untagged frames. Set your PVID to the VLAN that you want the PC on.
This method would work if you are using static IP on the phones. For...
The advantage of Contivity and the client is that features like this are controlled by the Contivity on a usergroup basis. To disable this feature, go to the user group associated with this user. The next time this client logs on this setting will be pushed to the client and the client will not...
The feature your looking for is NetSentry (it is on the 6400 anyway). Its a VR subcomponent that uses script-type filter files. Its damn nasty. Check you documentation.
Contivity VPN client installs this logical interface. This is interface used by your PC when you tunnel in. Think of it as your tunnel adaptor.
I've worked with oher IPSec VPN products and they dont have this. In my opinion it's a good thing cause it you can see this adaptor in DoS and the...
Boy, you in trouble! Looks like you issued the boot 'imgage' 'config' command from TI and told it to use pp2430boot.ppc as the image filename instead of pp2430.exe.
I did this the other day as well except I told it to boot using pp2430diag.exe.
Do you have another 2430 flash card? Maybe I can...
