I am running HPov NNM Release B.06.20 on Windows 200 Server. Currently when I lunch the NNM application the event views freezes when it begins to load the eventDB. It gets to about 14% and crashes. HPOV is still working fine.
Any Ideas.

Ok here is one way of doing it. The simplest way. You need to configure two port on each switch into VLAN 2. Then you need a cross over cable to connect each. The better way is to create a 802.1q trunk between each of the VLANs and trunk vlan 1 and 2.

I agree with vipergg. CDP can really help save time trouble shooting.
just dont run it on any outside facing routers. The routers infront of the firewall should not run CDP.
Cisco does not care anything about profiles. You can not do what your looking to do at this time. You can use VTP to configure based on a mac address but profiles are well outside what Cisco supports.
It's also not a greate idea to have all your circuits on one line. If the DS-3 goes down your whole office will be down. You really need atleast 8 T-1 before you consider using a DS-3. ALso you will have to pay the same charges for a lot of the port charges for the T-1's they break off. You...
