    Hello Vendor, That's a good question. There are two files in the vmware-tools directory. The first file is VMwareTools-5.0.0-13014.i386.rpm and the second file is VMwareTools-5.0.0-13014.tar.gz. I installed only the first one. Do I need to installed the second file as well? If so, I need to...

    Chacalinc, I installed RedHat as a guest OS. The host is WinXP Home Edition on a Dell Inspiron 700m. I tried bridging, NAT, and Host-only, etc... and none of them were able to detect the right ethernet card. Thank you. -Enigma

    Hi all, I have installed Red Hat Linux with vmware. However, linux can't seem to detect the ehternet card. In the linux Network Device Control, I can not find the right model of the ethernet brand. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thank you in advance. -Enigma
