I have very little experiance with building computers, and therefor would not geel very comfortable changing the cables on my computer. Is there anyway to do this without taking my computer apart?

I Think My bios did recognise it as it was under the drives section labled "Drive 5: PATA - 1" Does this help at all?

Also I'm fairly sure that my disk is not an upgrade disk, but the full version of Vista.

I have The Vista Ultimate Package, so I would assume that it is the full version. I'm not sure that my BIOS can detect my DVD drive. Is there a way to check this?
