    is it possible to forward specific ports across a LAN from a gateway PC to another PC? (both running win2k) i need to set http and ftp, etc to be directed to my PC instead of my dads! thanks NBurles

    i cant help you with most of what you want to know - but you can set it to not require a password (check FAQs on the VNC website) of course, the insecurities in VNC mean that whether you have a password or not - people can still hack into your machine :(

    cheers, the hard drive option is a bit impractical, as i live in england and the computer i need to transfer from is in america i guess i'll have to use IIS (can u give me any more detail into how to use it!? - i'v installed it - now what!?) cheers NBurles
