    ORacle express server engine

    I have install Oracle 8.1.7 on Windows 2000. Then I install Oracle Express Server 6.3 But the Oracle Express Service can not start and return error code 40. What's wrong? I want to write Visual Basic program to get report data form Express Server. How can I do that??
