    Query Too Complex?

I think the problem is due to poor database design, so i'm in the process of rebuilding tables and queries. Do you know how to simplify the loop below.... what is the equivalent of the "for" loop in Access or SQL: LblTS: IIf([CurrentMonthPPSF]=1,[JanTotal],IIf([CurrentMonthPPSF]=2,[FebTotal]...

    Query Too Complex?

I have a report that uses a query with a lot of variables, sub-queries, and functions. If I add one more entry to to the query, it gives me an error message "query too complex". Is there such limit as to what you can do on a query? Any way to increase this limit? All suggestions will be appreciated.

    Stucked in safe mode

Thank you for the responses. I think the culprit may be the "sasser worm" and some other type of malicious programs. The stinger anti-virus seem to pick it up and appears to delete, but it sees to regenerate next boot-up. It wont allow Norton anti-virus installation. The first syptom was windows...

How to set up 2 FVS318, both Dynamic IP

NETGEAR says one side "must" have a static IP, and you establish the tunnel from the dynamic side. But, since your DSL assigns a dynamic IP, and chances are, this IP will remain the same until next log-on, try configuring one side side as if it has a static IP (use the current dynamic...

NetGear FVS318 VPN to remote W2K client using IPSEC

The VPN setting instructions for the FSV318 says to use "DES" encryption on LAN_A, and "no encryption" on LAN_B. Try using "DES" encryption on LAN_B also. Also, make your key at least 16 characters. Since all routers default to the 192.168.0.X IP, make sure you...

NetGear FVS318 VPN to remote W2K client using IPSEC

Hello folks! I'm also frustrated with this VPN crap. The NETGEAR docs doesnt seem to work if you follow it word for. I've called support, and they are actually able to resolve some of the problems. They are able to "remote administer" the routers (if you enable this feature in the...

Can ping shared drive but not access

Righthy, I found the answer to my problem. Make sure your NETBIOS is enabled on your 2000/2003 machine. Then you'll need a user account to the 2000/2003 server to connect from the remote machines.

Can ping shared drive but not access

I'm having the same problem here. I can ping all computer/server within the network, and vice versa, but I'm unable to map to a drive to this server, or map to a different location to another computer/server. It also says "network cannot be found". All computers are on the same router.
