Are you saying you want all of the .dlls to stay on the network and not be moved to a client machine?
I believe this is possible but you will have to register the .dlls at each workstation. The Crystal install at the workstation does this for you.
I have a main report with 5 subreports. I have a date parameter on the main report. How do I setup the subreports so that they iunclude the date paramter as a part of thier record selection?
I agree with DGillz. Crystal is showing a default value ONLY because one of the options, Report or Global, is telling it to do so.
Also, there are several date fields that you definately do not want crystal to populate with the system date -- i.e. date shipped on an unshipped order, etc.
