The online books that come with the product are the best. There is a book out there for Impromptu, however it seems to be a "rewrite" of the online books (with some more detail) - I would save yourself the $.

If you want it in PDF format you should create a PPX report that contains the data you want, and the put that into Upfront. When you export to PDF it exports everything by default, just as it would with export to CSV.
Sounds like you used the Netscape default. When you step through the Access Manager config, are you using those same parameters, or the ones that Cognos is defaulting to?
