Thanks for all the help. I've tested my system with another PSU and it worked great. So I've gone for the safe bet and got myself a dual fan 500W power supply and have had it running for a whole day so it looks like nothing else was damaged in the proccess... phew! Cheers 2 all [thumbsup2]

I just bought a new ATI Radeon 9800 pro by saphire and installed it into my pc Athlon 2000+ on an Asus A7V333 mainboard. It ran fine for 6 hours then I decided to run a Radeon specific 3D demo to see what the card could do. About 30 seconds in to the demo my pc crashed... just instantly switched...
