I have 2 WSS Sharepoint sites (in question) - each has a calendar that has been used extensively for at least a year. Both have lots of recurring meetings set up. Some of the same people are using both calendars and it would be easier to just use one. They would like me to merge the 2 calendars...
Problem with this is that the baseline work field doesn't autosum subtasks - did you find a way around that?
I know this is a little late to be posting to this thread...

Thank you for all of your contributions to this thread.
They have pointed me in the right direction, but I am still not understanding how I can keep track of how much time I estimated vs actual.
If I say:

Currently, the exchange server is in the parent domain. Eventually (soon), there will be an exchange server in the child domain as well. Do I need to have an Exchange server in the child domain to get email working properly? Or if it just makes things simpler, I can do that.
Thanks, Megan
I am not an Exchange Admin, although I can get around Active Directory and Exchange, set up a new user, etc.
I am only familiar with a single domain, so forgive me for my lack of knowledge.
We decided to add a child domain so that we can "release" a group of users and their server(s) in the...

I have a computer set up so that visitors can surf our company website. This computer is also used by employees, on occasion, to check email, create a word doc, etc. So, it is connected to our domain. I would like to lock the Guest account down so that it does not have any local or network...

I have a user, "Betty", who has an administrator, "Sally" that is responsible for entering and maintaining Betty's contacts. The problem is that everytime Sally enters a new contact for Betty or if Betty enters her own new contact, the contact is marked Private...
Thanks anyway! Guess I'll just have to do it the long way (go to everyone's machine and set it up using the scheduler wizard). FYI: not necessary to run chkdsk /f on startup, just chkdsk, as I am planning on running chkdsk /r once a month in the middle of the night or when necessary via a...

Thanks for the helpful hint, unfortunately, I figured that much out a couple days ago. That code is great if I want to shoot out a batch file that assigns the computer the chkdsk command and reboots the computer in the middle of the night. But what about all of our notebook users?
I'd like...
