CurDir, if I remember correctly, will give you the "Run In" directory from a shortcut. I wouldn't rely on that for the app path. App.path is the way to go.
Using recordsets, and print#, you can scroll through the tables and write the records to a file.
you would create the recordset, open a file, and use something like:
rs.movefirst
