Interesting Linksys Ping Problem ???
Isn't there a set number of ping packets that can be received by either one at any given time? It may be mistaking it for a Denial of Service attack. I know that Nortel has a limit on the number of ICMP packets before it will stop responding. Maybe Linksys is like this as well.- msvt22

Nortel Contivity client W2K install, blue screen on reboot
I have run into this issue with XP and W2k before. In my case it was the result of network adapter management software that was installed. Look for anything like "Intel Pro Set" or anything that may have a handle on the network settings. I uninstalled this software and was able to...- msvt22
