Hi,
If you want to measure the traffic from server to clients,
you may consider a program called mrtg( or rrdtool )
It uses snmp to measure traffic from the client (or its hub/switch) and graph it over time.

I have 3com 3300 switches (v2.61 mostly)
I can't connect to them via telnet of browser.
I can ping them and they are forwarding traffic ok.
My 3com-ns software is caught up in a machine upgrade.
I think it may be a nimda variant virus holding too many open connections to target...
